The on-line application system will be opened at least 6 weeks before the application deadline (i.e. in the middle of March 2014).
The on-line application must be submitted before the application deadline. Original hard copy of the Invitation Letter (and the Confirmation on Studies – in case of Master/PhD students) must be submitted to SAIA in Bratislava (Sasinkova 10, 812 20 Bratislava 1, Slovak Republic). In case of submitting the documents in person, the documents will be accepted by SAIA in Bratislava until the application deadline. Original hard copies of the required documents can be also send to SAIA in Bratislava by post/courier. In that case, the documents cannot be sent later than on the date of the application deadline (date stated at the postmark or at the posting document of courier service is taken into consideration) – the documents must reach SAIA in Bratislava within 5 working days since the application deadline; otherwise they will be not accepted.
When planning your scholarship stay, the following applies:
o students: the earliest date of the beginning of the stay is 1 September 2014; the latest date of the beginning of the stay is 1 April 2015
o PhD students, university teachers, researchers and artists: the earliest date of the beginning of the stay is 1 September 2014; the latest date of the beginning of the stay is 31 August 2015
o students: the latest date of the completion of the stay is 31 August 2015
o PhD students, university teachers, researchers and artists: the latest date of the completion of the stay is 30 November 2015
Note: When planning your scholarship stay, it is necessary to adhere to the terms of the National Scholarship Programme of the Slovak Republic; specific dates of the beginning/completion of your scholarship stay shall be stated clearly in the Admission/Invitation Letter issued by your host institution in Slovakia.
